Ukraine security service reports death of Anastasiia Berezovska, who allegedly carried out a parcel bomb in Monaco.

Anastasiia Berezovska, a 39‑year‑old Ukrainian woman implicated in a parcel bombing that injured a Ukrainian multimillionaire’s family in Monaco, has been found dead in Ukraine, according to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). A cross‑border manhunt was launched after the bomb was detonated on 29 June in the entrance hall of a residential building. Berezovska’s body, discovered with gunshot wounds to the head, points to a violent end. Two men, one an officer in the Defence Ministry, are detained on suspicion of murder. Investigators continue to probe the motive and the chain of events.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) confirmed the death of 39‑year‑old Anastasiia Berezovska, the woman suspected of planting a parcel bomb in the entrance hall of an apartment building in Monaco on 29 June. The blast injured the family of a sanctioned Ukrainian multimillionaire.

Following the incident, a cross‑border manhunt was launched as Berezovska allegedly fled the city‑state. Her body was later found in Ukraine with gunshot wounds to the head, the SBU reported.

Two men, including an officer from Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence, have been detained on suspicion of murder. Investigators are continuing to investigate the motive behind the bombing and the circumstances of Berezovska’s death.
