US Military to Test Testosterone for Men, Pushing a "Manly" Frontier

Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth announced a new policy that will screen all US military personnel aged 30 and older for low testosterone levels during annual health checks, offering voluntary replacement therapy to those who qualify.

Under-30 servicemen will have the option to opt in for testing.

The Pentagon has made no statement about hormone replacement availability for female soldiers.
